(11) Disconnect hose (17) from fitting (18).
(12) Remove fitting (18) from counterbalance valve (10).
(13) Remove preformed packings (19 and 20) from fitting
(18). Discard preformed packings.
(14) Remove two plugs (21) from counterbalance valve (10).
(15) Remove two preformed packings (22) from plugs (21).
Discard preformed packings.
WARNING
Lift cylinder weighs approximately 180 lbs
(82 kgs). Attach a suitable lifting device
prior to removal. Failure to comply may
result in injury to personnel or damage to
equipment.
NOTE
Steps (16) through (22) require the aid of an
assistant.
(16) Remove screw (23), washer (24), and bushing (25) from
rivet eyebolt (26).
(17) Remove rivet eyebolt (26) from pivot shaft (27).
(18) Remove pivot shaft (27) from turntable (28).
