(29) Install ring gear (6) in housing (33).
WARNING
Adhesive sealant MIL-S-46163 can damage
your eyes.
Wear safety goggles/glasses
when using; avoid contact with eyes.
If
sealant contacts eyes, flush eyes with water
and get immediate medical attention. Failure
to comply may result in injury to personnel.
(30) Apply sealing compound to threads of five screws (34).
(31) Position retaining plate (35) on housing (33) with five
washers (36) and screws (34).
(32) Tighten screws (34) to 63-69 lb-ft (85-94 N m).
d. Follow-On Maintenance.
(1) Install cable follower (para 16-14).
(2) Install hoist assembly (para 16-13).
(3) Install oil filled disc brake assembly (para 16-20).
(4) Install hoist hydraulic motor (para 16-19).
(5) Install hydraulic motor valve assembly (para 16-17).
(6) Perform crane load test (para 16-31).
