16-3. M1084/M1086 BOOM ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (CONT)
b. Installation.
WARNING
Boom assembly weighs approximately 800
lbs (363 kgs). Attach a suitable lifting device
prior to installation. Failure to comply may
result in injury to personnel or damage to
equipment.
NOTE
Steps (1) through (17) require the aid of
assistant.
(1) Position boom assembly (1) in mounting position over
erection cylinder (2).
(2) Install erection cylinder (2) in boom assembly (1) with
pivot shaft (3).
(3) Install mast (4) in boom assembly (1) with pivot shaft (3).
