(2) Inspect inner stator (1) for pitting, corrosion, scoring, and
indication of binding. Minimum thickness is 0.225 in.
(0.571 cm).
(3) Inspect outer stator (2) for pitting, corrosion, scoring, and
indication of binding. Minimum thickness is 0.118 in.
(0.003 cm).
(4) Inspect two disc (3) for pitting, corrosion, scoring, and
indication of binding. Minimum thickness is 0.210 in.
(0.0053 cm).
(5) Inspect seven springs (4) for pitting, corrosion, scoring,
and indication of binding. Minimum length is 0.938 in.
(0.024 cm).
d. Assembly.
(1) Install two races (1) in hub (2).
(2) Install bearing (3) on shaft (4).
(3) Install shaft (4) in hub (2).
(4) Install seal (5) on shaft (4).
