(7) Attach two guide ropes to support structure (3).

Support structure weighs approximately
600 lbs (272 kgs). Attach a suitable lifting
device prior to installation.
Failure to
comply may result in injury to personnel
or damage to equipment.
NOTE
Step (8) requires the aid of two assistants.
(8) Position support structure (3) in mounting position on
vehicle.
(9) Position two bolts (23) and self-locking nuts (24) in right
side mount (2).
(10) Tighten two self-locking nuts (24) to 285-305 lb-ft (386-
414 N·m).
(11) Position two bolts (25) and self-locking nuts (26) in left
front mount (17).
(12) Tighten two self-locking nuts (26) to 285-305 lb-ft (386-
414 N·m).
(13) Position two bolts (27) and self-locking nuts (28) in left
rear mount (8).
(14) Tighten two self-locking nuts (28) to 285-305 lb-ft (386-
414 N·m).
