a. Removal.
CAUTION
When removing bolts, continuous removal of
collars is mandatory. Failure to comply may
result in seizing of collar to bolt.
NOTE
Left and right side rear axle bogie shafts are
removed the same way. Right side shown.
Steps (1) and (2) require the aid of an assistant.
(1) Remove four collars (1) and bolts (2) from rear axle
bogie shaft (3). Discard collars and bolts.
(2) Remove four self-locking nuts (4), bolts (5), and rear axle
bogie shaft (3) from frame rail (6). Discard self-locking
nuts.
