18-6. 200 AMP ALTERNATOR REPAIR (CONT)
WARNING
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds
can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors,
and are harmful to skin and clothing. Keep
away from open fire and use in a well-
ventilated area.
If adhesive, solvent, or
sealing compound gets on skin or clothing,
wash immediately with soap and water.
Failure to comply may result in injury to
personnel.
(25) Apply sealing compound to head of screw (26), terminal
lug (30), jumpers (28 and 29), five screws (27), terminal
lugs (32), and jumpers (33).
CAUTION
Use care when installing diode plate on
stator.
Failure to comply may result in
damage to equipment.
(26) Position diode plate (35) on front housing (15) with nine
lockwashers (36) and screws (37).
(27) Tighten nine screws (37) to 30 lb-in. (3 N·m).
