16-43. M1089 HOIST ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (CONT)
b. Installation.
WARNING
Hoist assembly weighs approximately 210
lbs (95 kgs). Attach suitable lifting device
prior to installation. Failure to comply may
result in injury to personnel or damage to
equipment.
NOTE
Step (1) requires the aid of an assistant.
(1) Install hoist assembly (1) in boom brace (2) with shaft
(3).
(2) Install clamp (4), screw (5), and self-locking nut (6) on
shaft (3).
NOTE
Step (3) requires the aid of an assistant.
(3) Position hoist assembly (1) on front of tension load cell
(7) with front swivel nut (8).
