Tools and Special Tools Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 78, Appendix B) Tools and Special Tools (Cont) Goggles, Industrial (Item 28, Appendix B) Materials/Parts Sealing Compound (Item 76, Appendix C) a. Removal. WARNING Use care when removing springs. Springs are under tension and can act as projectiles when released. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel. Remove two screws (1), four washers (2), and cable follower assembly (3) from hoist assembly (4). b. Disassembly. (1) Remove two springs (1) from posts (2). 16-239
