(10) Remove fitting (19) from counterbalance valve (6).
(11) Remove preformed packings (20 and 21) from fitting
(19). Discard preformed packings.
(12) Remove fitting (22) from counterbalance valve (6).
(13) Remove preformed packings (23 and 24) from fitting
(22). Discard preformed packings.
(14) Remove two 90-degree fittings (25) from counterbalance
valve (6).
(15) Remove two preformed packings (26 and 27) from 90-
degree fittings (25). Discard preformed packings.
(16) Remove two grease fittings (28) from each end of lift
cylinder (1).
b. Installation.
(1) Install two grease fittings (1) in each end of lift cylinder
(2).
(2) Install two preformed packings (3 and 4) on 90-degree
fittings (5).
(3) Install two 90-degree fittings (5) in counterbalance valve
(6).
(4) Install preformed packings (7 and 8) on fitting (9).
(5) Install fitting (9) in counterbalance valve (6).
(6) Install preformed packings (10 and 11) on fitting (12).
(7) Install fitting (12) in counterbalance valve (6).
