(12) Lift up on boom mid section (7) enough to allow
installation of two body wear pads (11).
(13) Install two body wear pads (11) in boom base section
(10).
WARNING
Adhesive sealant MIL-S-46163 can damage
your eyes.
Wear safety goggles/glasses
when using; avoid contact with eyes.
If
sealant contacts eyes, flush eyes with water
and get immediate medical attention. Failure
to comply may result in injury to personnel.
(14) Apply sealing compound to threads of four screws (12).
(15) Position four washers (13) and screws (12) in telescopic
cylinder (4).
(16) Tighten screws (12) to 144-156 lb-ft (195-212 N·m).
(17) Connect hydraulic hoses (14 and 15) to telescopic
cylinder (4).
