c. M1085/M1086 Removal.
(1) Remove six stake posts (1) from cargo bed (2).
NOTE
Left and right braces are removed the same
way. Left side brace shown.
(1.1) Remove self-locking nut (2.1) and screw (2.2) from brace
(2.3) and cargo bed (2). Discard self-locking nut.
CAUTION
When removing bolts, continuous removal of
collars is mandatory. Failure to comply will
result in seizing of collars to bolts.
NOTE
• Perform steps (2) and (3) on M1085.
• Left and right sides of cargo bed are removed
the same way. Left side shown.
• Step (2) requires the aid of an assistant.
(2) Remove 10 collars (3) and bolts (4) from cargo bed (2).
(3) Perform step (2) on right side of cargo bed.
