NOTE
Steps (12) through (14) require the aid of an
assistant.
(12) Position LH tension link cylinder (15) in boom assembly
(1) with pivot shaft (16).
(13) Install mast (17) in boom assembly (1) with pivot shaft
(16).
(14) Position RH tension link cylinder (18) in boom assembly
(1) with pivot shaft (16).
(15) Position two rivet eyebolts (19) in pivot shaft (16).
WARNING
Adhesive sealant MIL-S-46163 can damage
your eyes.
Wear safety goggles/glasses
when using; avoid contact with eyes.
If
sealant contacts eyes, flush eyes with water
and get immediate medical attention. Failure
to comply may result in injury to personnel.
(16) Apply sealing compound to threads of two screws (20).
(17) Position two bushings (21), washers (22), and screws
(20) in rivet eyebolts (19).
(18) Tighten screws (20) to 240-260 lb-ft (325-353 N·m).
