b. Installation.
(1) Install two preformed packings (1) on 45-degree fittings
(2).
(2) Install two 45-degree fittings (2) on oil filled disc brake
assembly (3).
(3) Install preformed packing (4) on check valve (5).
(4) Install check valve (5) on oil filled disc brake assembly
(3).
WARNING
Adhesive sealant MIL-S-46163 can damage
your eyes.
Wear safety goggles/glasses
when using; avoid contact with eyes.
If
sealant contacts eyes, flush eyes with water
and get immediate medical attention. Failure
to comply may result in injury to personnel.
(5) Apply sealing compound to threads of three screws (6).
(6) Position oil filled disc brake assembly (3) on hoist
assembly (7) with three washers (8) and screws (6).
(7) Apply sealing compound to threads of two screws
(9).
(8) Position bracket (10) on oil fill disc brake assembly (3)
with two washers (11) and screws (9).
(9) Tighten screws (6 and 9) to 60-90 lb-ft (81-122 N m).
