(3) Install two dump body lifting brackets (4) in front slots in
dump body (3).
WARNING
Dump body weighs approximately 3,030
lbs (1,377 kg). Attach a suitable lifting
device prior to removal. Failure to comply
may result in injury to personnel or
damage to equipment.
(4) Attach cargo sling to dump body lifting brackets (4).
(5) Raise dump body (3) (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).
(6) Raise maintenance legs (5) under dump bed (3).
(7) Lower dump body (3).
(8) Shut down engine (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).
WARNING
Use care when removing retaining rings.
Retaining rings are under tension and can
act as projectiles. Failure to comply may
result in injury to personnel.
(9) Remove two retaining rings (6) from pins (7).
(10) Remove two pins (7) from dump body legs (8).
(11) Attach two dump body legs (8) to dump body (3).
NOTE
Performance of step (12) will lower subframe.
(12) Lower dump body (3) (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).
