WARNING
Wear appropriate eye protection when
working under vehicle due to the
possibility of falling debris. Failure to
comply may result in injury to personnel.
a. Left Front Shock Absorber Bracket Removal.
(1) Remove self-locking nut (1), screw (2), and clamp (3)
from left front shock absorber bracket (4). Discard self-
locking nut.
CAUTION
When removing bolts, continuous removal of
collars is mandatory. Failure to comply will
result in seizing of collar to bolt.
NOTE
Step (2) requires the aid of an assistant.
(2) Remove four collars (5), bolts (6), left front shock
absorber bracket (4), and two plates (7) from frame rail
(8). Discard collars and bolts.
