INITIAL SETUP
Equipment Conditions
Position MHC on boom rest (TM 9-2320-366-10-
2).
Engine shut down (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).
Hoist cable removed (TM 9-2320-366-20-5).
Batteries disconnected (TM 9-2320-366-20-3).
Hydraulic supply and return valves closed (TM 9-
2320-366-10-2).

Sling, Cargo (Item 56, Appendix B)

Cap and Plug Set, (Item 17, Appendix C)
Dispenser, Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tape (Item

Ties, Cable Plastic (Item 92, Appendix C)

Personnel Required
(2)
a. Removal.
(1) Disconnect overload lockout connector (1) from overload
shut down box (2).
NOTE
Remove plastic cable ties and cable clamps
as required.
(2) Pull overload lockout connector (1) clear of boom
assembly (3).
CAUTION
Cap and plug hydraulic hoses and connection
points prior to removal. Failure to comply may
result in damage to equipment.
NOTE
· Tag hydraulic hoses and connection points prior
to disconnecting.
· Two outer hydraulic hoses are accessed from
underneath boom.
(3) Disconnect four hoses (4) from boom assembly (3).
(4) Disconnect hose (5) from boom assembly (3).
