(31) Install three preformed packings (26) on 90-degree fitting
(27).
(32) Position 90-degree fitting (27) in monoblock valve (4).
(33) Tighten 90-degree fitting (27) to 36-39 lb-ft (49-53 N·m).
(34) Install three preformed packings (28) on fittings (29).
(35) Position three fittings (29) in monoblock valve (4).
(36) Tighten three fittings (29) to 109-114 lb-ft (148-155 N·m).
d. Installation.
WARNING
Adhesive Sealant MIL-S-46163 can damage
your eyes. Wear safety goggles when using;
avoid contact with eyes. If sealant contacts
eyes, flush eyes with water and get
immediate medical attention.
Failure to
comply may result in injury to personnel.
(1) Apply sealing compound to threads of four screws (1).
(2) Position monoblock valve (2) on mounting plate (3) with
four lockwashers (4) and screws (1).
(3) Tighten four screws (1) to 33-37 lb-ft (45-50 N·m).
