TM 9-2320-366-34-3(18) Remove solenoid assembly (24) from lower control valveassembly (2).NOTENotepositionofseals,packings,andretaining plates prior to removal.(19) Remove seal (25), preformed packing (26), retainingplate (27) and spacer (28) from solenoid assembly (24).Discard preformed packing and seal.(20) Remove two screws (29), retaining plates (30), retainingpacking (31), and seal (32) from lower control valveassembly (2). Discard retaining packing and seal.(21) Remove piston rod (33) from stripper bolt (34).(22) Remove spacer (35) and flange (23) from piston rod(33).(23) Remove inner seal (36) from flange (23). Discard seal.CAUTIONPiston rod is made of aluminum and can beeasily damaged. Failure to comply will resultin damage to equipment.(24) Place piston rod (33) in soft vise.(25) Remove cap screw (37) and piston (21) from piston rod(33).Change 1 16-516.1
