16-83. M1089 UPPER CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT/REPAIR (CONT)
NOTE
Note position of seals, packings, and
retaining plates prior to removal.
(9) Remove two screws (10), washers (11), and retaining
plate (12) from upper control valve assembly (2).
(10) Remove seal retainer (13) and pressure tube (14) from
solenoid (15).
(11) Remove seal retainer (13) from pressure tube (14).
(12) Remove preformed packing (16) from seal retainer (13).
Discard preformed packing.
(13) Remove two seals (17) from piston (18). Discard
seals.
(14) Remove preformed packing (19) from flange (20).
Discard preformed packing.
